Homecoming

Zoey came home to our Montclair apartment yesterday.

We made it through our first night alone after Grandpas Jon and Lewis hung out with us all day (and provided some very helpful lunch/diaper errand help). Zoey's a party animal. Loves the night life. Loves to boogey.

Around 2 am daddy had to perform a twenty minute lullaby rendition of Bob Marley's "Buffalo Soldier," to quiet down a fidgety Zoey. But for a two day old, she made it through her first night with flying colors. The biggest difficulty (if you want to call it that) is that she has been held so much, she just doesn't want to sleep anywhere but on someone's chest. We're going to try and change that. Zoey may have other ideas, though.

We're off to Marlboro and El's parent's this afternoon. Our internet access may be a bit spotty for the next fews days, but I plan to put up a whole bunch of photos and video once we're back cruising the information super-highway.

Thanks for all the well-wishes!

Zoey,

Zayde and Grand L are in extreme withdrawl having spent the first 5 days of your life with you.

Tell your mommy and daddy that we'll try not to call more than once a day....but it will be hard.

We love you to pieces.
