Please meet our daughter.
Zoey was born at 2:20 this afternoon. Right after she was born, the nurses cleaned her up, and put her into my dumbstruck arms. She's had my number ever since.
Ellyn and Zoey are both doing great. El is getting some rest, and sweet pea is getting to know the nurses on the floor. They all think she's a really cool baby. (really)
So do we.
Zoey's already had her first feeding, her first mega-poop (nurse's words, not mine), her first cry, her first burp, her first deep gaze, and one other first...
Hiccups!
Oh, and she discovered her tongue and made friends with it.

She's beautiful. Has gorgeous blue eyes (probably won't last), a great coo, a super smile, the prettiest skin, long arms, legs and fingers, beautiful hair, and just about total perfection:-)

I cannot get over these photos. She is just a beautiful baby and we are so happy that everyone is healthy, though I am sure exhausted.
